Indianola First Methodist Church Choir

The Choir at Indianola First Methodist Church is a place for people of all ages to use their voices in worship and serve the church through music. From youth to senior adults, the choir welcomes anyone who loves to sing and desires to be part of leading worship through song.

Weekly Choir Rehearsals on Wednesday Nights

The choir meets each Wednesday night in the Choir Room, located behind the Sanctuary, to prepare for worship and grow together in fellowship. These weekly rehearsals help build both musical confidence and community among those who serve in this ministry.

Leading Worship Through Music Each Sunday

Most Sundays, the choir shares a special anthem as part of our Traditions worship services. Through music, the choir helps lead the congregation in praise and points hearts toward Christ. Whether singing familiar hymns or special arrangements, this ministry plays an important role in the life of our church.

Annual Christmas Cantata

Each year, the choir presents a Christmas Cantata during the Advent season. This special service has become a meaningful tradition at Indianola First Methodist Church, helping tell the story of Christ’s birth through Scripture and song.

A Place for Every Voice

The choir is open to anyone from youth to senior adults. Whether you have sung in choirs for years or simply love to sing, this is an opportunity to use your gifts in worship and be part of a ministry that helps make Jesus known.

If you would like to join the choir, please reach out to our Choir Director, Shiefer Phillips. His information can be found here.
